About Us
Chipps Computer Service offers 18 years of experience in computer tech
support, troubleshooting, installation and repairing of computer and computer
peripherals.
We are centrally located in Aurora to effectively serve the Springfield and
Joplin areas. That is not the limit of our service range as we service even in
Branson, Shell Knob, and Casseville with services north to Mt Vernon and
Monett and nearby communities.
We offer onsite business and in-home services in this area. With this
advantage most computers and peripherals are repaired there onsite with the
customer.

Consumer Tip:
If you purchased a new computer system at a retailer such
as Circuit City, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, etc. Chances are you were sold
an extended warranty for your system. You should thoroughly check your warranty
information before you call us or any computer repair center. You might already
be covered for any defects or failures in your system. Which means there would
be no costs to you for service or repair. Some extended warranties cover in home
service. Always keep all paperwork, receipts, and warranty information
concerning your purchase of the system. Most extended warranties become
effective after the manufacturer's warranty has expired. For example, if you
purchased a three year extended warranty, then you have a total of 4 years of
warranty service for your computer. One year of manufacturer warranty in
addition of three years extended purchased warranty. If not for sure, then
ask your retailer for your warranty information. If you missed the opportunity
to do so, then some retailers give up to 60 days after purchase to buy the
extended warranty option. |
